Exterior renovation in Passaic County, NJ.
Passaic County covers more ground than most realize — from the urban density of Paterson and Passaic to the lake-country towns up around Ringwood and West Milford. We work the whole county, and we tune our scope and timeline to the specific town. A Wayne re-side is a different project than a West Milford one; we treat them differently.

Climate & exposure
What Passaic weather asks for.
Passaic County is geographically split — the southern and central portions are dense suburban, while the northern reaches (Ringwood, West Milford) are rural and see heavier snow than anywhere else in our service area. Wind exposure on the ridges is real; we detail roofing fasteners and siding flashing for the higher-elevation jobs accordingly.

Frequently asked in Passaic County
The questions we hear most on this side of the river.
Do you work in the urban Passaic County towns (Paterson, Passaic, Clifton)?
Yes — regularly. Permitting requirements and access logistics differ from suburban work (tighter lot lines, fewer staging options, different inspection cycles), and we adjust the timeline and pricing accordingly. The standard of work doesn't change.
How do you handle the heavier snowfall in Ringwood and West Milford?
Heavier ice-and-water shield coverage on the roof (not just the first six feet — up to the heated wall on cathedral ceilings), stronger fastening patterns on siding for wind exposure, and ridge venting tuned to the higher snow loads. We've done enough work up there to know what holds and what doesn't.
Do you do work on lakefront properties (Greenwood Lake, Pompton Lake, Wanaque Reservoir area)?
Yes. Lakefront homes get extra moisture exposure year-round and benefit most from composite (no rot risk) and proper rain-screen detailing. We'll discuss material choice carefully on lakefront walkthroughs.
Is the Passaic River flood zone a factor for your work?
It can be. Homes in the regulated flood zones near Wayne and Little Falls sometimes have specific elevation, material, and venting requirements per FEMA and township ordinance. If your home is in a flood zone, mention it on the walkthrough — we'll factor it into the scope.
